Making A Purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.
If you have made a mistake in your order and cannot correct it in the shopping cart, contact us and we will correct the mistake.When confirmation of your order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us.
We will confirm acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice.
We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason.
In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.
Shipping And Handling
UK Delivery Charge
Our standard UK delivery charge is £2.95, orders over £60 will be delivered free of charge. A signature will be required for all our deliveries. Providing your items are in stock we will aim to deliver your order within 5 working days -we will let you know if there are any delays.
Depending on your order we may use a few different companies to deliver:
Royal Mail, Evri, DPD
If you require a specialised UK delivery service please get in touch by phone or email and we will give you a quote and talk through options.
No-One at Home
If there is no one at your delivery address when your order is delivered the postman or courier will leave a card with the contact details how to retrieve your parcel.
Overseas Delivery Charges
We deliver anywhere in the world but our policy is not to deliver to PO Box addresses, due to courier restrictions.We will deliver your order via Air Mail or UPS.
Our products are sold in Pounds Sterling on a delivery duty unpaid basis. The recipient may have to pay import duty or a formal customs entry fee prior to or on delivery.
Additional taxes, fees or levies may apply according to local leglisation and customers are advised to check these details themselves before placing the order. Rebecca Plater is not responsible for any of these charges.
Delivery charges are based on the total cost of your order.
We deliver your order within 5 working days. You must inform us within two working days if the goods are lost or damaged in transit so that we can make a prompt claim against the delivery company and correct the problem. Please quote your order number in all correspondence.
You agree that proof of delivery supplied by our delivery company is sufficient evidence to establish that goods have been received.
If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.
All our goods include VAT. We are unable to refund VAT on overseas orders.

Rebecca Plater do not disclose buyers' information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfilment. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.

Data collected by this site is used to take and fulfil customer orders, administer and enhance the site and service. We only disclose information to third-parties for goods delivery purposes.
Your rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive. We will exchange or refund any item you are not happy with provided they are returned in their original condition within 7 days of receipt. Please ask for proof of postage from the post office for your returned item as we cannot be held responsible for anything that gets lost or damaged in transit.
Delivery charges and returned postage will only be refunded if the item is faulty. If an item you have received is damaged please inform us within 24 hrs of delivery to arrange for a replacement to be sent. Any goods returned should be in saleable condition. These terms apply to your order.
We may change our terms and conditions at any time, so please do not assume that the same terms will apply in the future. None of these terms affect your legal rights and these are not diminished in any way. If any term is held to be invalid under any applicable statute or rule of law, that term is automatically omitted from the terms to minimum extent necessary to comply with the law and without affecting the validity or enforceability of the remainder.
Our products are hand illustrated therefore slight variations might occur from the product image on the site.
